Former Senator representing Ogun East, Senator Buruji Kashamu, is dead.
The Senator succumbed to death on Saturday following complications from the COVID-19 disease.
His former colleague, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce who broke the news on Twitter said Kashamu died at First Cardiologist Consultants in Lagos.
Last week, the billionaire businessman-cum politician’s health had taken a nose dive at an isolation center where he had been receiving treatment for Covid-19, forcing his care givers to move him to the First Cardiology Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos.
