The National President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Dr. Casmir Okwudili Obi popularly known as Voombastic UncleP and the National Executive Council in conjunction with the National Working Committee on Thursday, inaugurated the National Electoral Committee, to oversee the elections and Delegates Conference of the body, which is expected to hold in the next few weeks.
The Committee, is to be led by legendary Graphic arts designer, multi instrumentalist and musician, Chief Charles Imoloame(Charlimo), as Chairman.
Other members of the 6-man team, include: Chidi Keke Earl(Secretary), George Dureke, Funmi Tijani, King Brownman and Funkiest Malam.
The decision was reached at a virtual meeting attended by elders of the union, dignitaries of the entertainment industry and members from all over Nigeria.
In his acceptance statement, Charlimo stated, “PMAN is bigger than any individual and that is why we all need to key into a process that can finally resolve the issues that may be on ground…My dear friends, I have decided to bell the cat by working for the industry as an electoral umpire. We need your prayers so we can succeed in our assignment”.
