UKE TOWN AGOG AS CHIBUIKE IHIONU MARRIES EBELE OKWUONU

Come December 5th, 2020, the bells of the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha will peel in delight as Chibuike Ihionu and his heartthrob, Ebele Okwuonu will be joined in a holy matrimony.

The wedding which was initially fixed for Saturday, April 4th 2020 had to be rescheduled as the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic took its toll across the globe.

However, while December 5th will see Chibuike and Ebele exchanging marital vows before a priest and the congregation, the groom Chibuike and his family will travel from their hometown Akokwa in Imo State to perform the traditional marriage ceremony, which will hold tomorrow, Saturday, October 31st at the bride’s father, Chief (Sir) Okwuonu’s (Kwochaa) house at Nkwelle village Uke, Anambra State.

Ebele, a lawyer got her first degree at the University of Liverpool, England, and did her Masters in Law (LLM) at the University of Nottingham, England.

Her heartthrob, Chibuike, the son of Chief (Sir) Sam Ihionu on the other hand, has BSc. Computer Science from the University of Derby, UK (Malaysia Campus) and an MSc. in International Human Resources Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
