FORMER INFORMATION MINISTER, PRINCE TONY MOMOH IS DEAD

Veteran Journalist, politician and author, Prince Tony Momoh, has died.

The veteran Journalist who was a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, was at various times, the editor of Daily Times, general manager, publications, general manager, planning and development, and later the nation’s Information Minister during the Gen. Ibrahim Babangida administration.

Momoh who was born on April 27, 1939 in Auchi, Edo State, also served as President, Nigeria Guild of Editors, and member of board of the Nigerian Press Council among others.
