The judicial panel established by the Lagos State government to probe brutality and high-handedness of the disbanded special anti-robbery squad (SARS) has approved the reopening of the Lekki tollgate. Five of the nine-member panel voted to return the control of the tollgate to the Lekki Concession Company (LCC), the operators, on Saturday. Leon Spinks, who won Olympic gold and then shocked the boxing world by beating Muhammad Ali to win the heavyweight title in only his eighth professional fight, has died aged 67 after a long battle with cancer.
