The Nigerian film industry(Nollywood), was hit again today as filmmaker, Vitus Nnebue has reportedly died.
Mgbidi, Imo State born Vitus, reportedly died after a brief illness.
Until his death, Vitus, the Managing Director cum CEO of Gold Pictures, was the National Provost of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP.
His death, was announced on the Facebook page of his colleague, AMP Vice President, Ambassador Queen Blessing Ebigieson on Saturday night.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our dear colleague, brother and current National Provost of association of movie producers Nigeria ( AMP ) Mr Vitus Nnebue, CEO Gold Pictures, after a brief illness, as confirmed by his family earlier today. We pray that his gentle soul should find peaceful rest with his creator….”
