Former Ekiti State, governorship aspirant, Senator Gbenga Aluko is dead.
Sen. Aluko died on Saturday evening after he collapsed in his office in Abuja.
The Ode Ekiti-born politician was said to have been rushed to an hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.
A son of the late economist, Professor Sam Aluko, Sen. Gbenga was one of Ekiti State’s governorship aspirants in the 2018 election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Popularly called ‘SGA’, the late politician, was a member of the National Assembly between 1999 and 2003 on the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
