Rattle Snake-The Ahanna Story, was the biggest winner on Saturday night at the 8th edition of the prestigious African Magic Viewers Choice Awards(AMVCA), held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.

The movie grabbed five wards-the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Cinematographer and Best Lighting Designer to emerge tops on the night. Osas Ighodaro and Stan Nze picked best actress and best actor for the film while Ramsey Noah got best director. Mathew Yusuf received best lighting design just as Muhammed Atta Ahmed completed the sweep with best cinematographer award.

Okechukwu Ogunjiofor’s film-Amina, also made a big showing on the night, picking four awards including, Best Art Director, Best Sound Editor, Best Overall Movie and Best Costume Designer.
Funke Akindele Bello’s-Omo Ghetto the Saga, gave her the Best Actress in a Comedy just as Balogun Abiodun grabbed Best Makeup award from the same movie.
