GREYDOTS AI LAUNCHES THE ALL-KNOWING NIGPT IN NIGERIA, SETS TO DISLODGE GOOGLE

The latest phenomenal breakthrough in the increasingly digitalised contemporary global order has begun to shoot Nigeria to the heights after all.

This is evident in the debuting of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Lagos, Nigeria, the African hub of innovation.

Interestingly, AI has not just debuted in the country but it has done so with a marvellous indigenised creativity that now proffers instant, concise and comprehensively satisfying seamless solutions to the information quests of Nigerians across all fields of endeavour from academics to economy, politics et al.

In his introductory presentation at the unveiling of latest digital breakthrough in Nigeria, Mr Arnold Agure-Dam, the Founder, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Greydots AI hinted that though the emergence of ChatGPT marked the end of the Google era but the birth of the Nigeria-centric NiGPT has the undaunted capacity to relegate the ChatGPT to the background bench in terms of the real time indigenised solutions to information quests of the Nigeria’s learned populace seeking confidently reliable, detailed information on any topical issue from across the sectors even cognisant of our cherished values as it captures the essence of our cultural needs much better.

While ChatGPT (akin to a hybrid of the conventional Google) gives what could pass for estimated, or at best, summarised information about a topical issue indigenous to us, NiGPT has the capacity to provide the required information on economic, political and other happenings in Nigeria and promptly too.

NiGPT also has the capability to highlight our true strengths even as it helps to address our weaknesses.

The NiGPT 2.1 for example, is a model learning tool, enhancing learning for the Nigerian students with the capability for image generation even as it is dialect-sensitive.

On the sidelines of the ‘informationful’ outing, the Agure-Dam who was clearly the proud groom of the day showcasing his envied intellectual bride (NiGPT) assured Daily Independent that the AI breakthrough would also ultimately be deployed to address traffic and security issues in Nigeria.

Dignitaries that graced the presentation included the Nigeria’s Minister of Information represented by Mr Sunday Baba; the Minister of Innovation and Technology ably represented by Prof Martins Emeje.

Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of digital Lagos, was there as represented by his young Commissioner for Science and Technology, Tubosun Alake.

The dignitaries’ all expressed excitement about the breakthrough even as they pledged government’s support at their tiers.
