SUPER EAGLES BACK IN NIGERIA AFTER LIBYA DEBACLE

Nigeria’s male football team, the Super Eagles have returned to the country after their ordeal in Libya. Players and officials were stranded for about 16 hours at a Libya airport ahead of the second leg of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier. which was supposed to take place on Tuesday. Photos of the team sleeping on Libyan airport benches went viral early today, prompting condemnation from Nigerian authorities. The Super Eagles landed in Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano after their flight was cleared to take off.
