The remains of veteran Nollywood actor, Ayodele Samuel Emmanuel, will be laid to rest today in Lagos.
The Idanre, Ondo State-born graduate of Physical and Health Education from the University of Lagos, who was popularly known as ’Nollywood Policeman’, will be buried at his father’s compound in Oke-Olu street, Iponri, Lagos.
His funeral rites began with a service of songs on Thursday. It will climax with the interment of his earthly remains after a funeral service at the RCCG Rivers of Living Water Church, 35B Abule-Nla road, Ebutte Metta, Lagos, this Friday.
Ayo Emmanuel died after a protracted battle against Prostrate Cancer at an Abuja hospital on October 2024. He was aged 70 years.
