Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader Onos Brisibi is dead. Onos reportedly died after a long battle with a terminal illness.
News of her death was broken on Thursday via social media posts by her colleagues monitored by thebladengr.
Onos Brisibi started singing from a young age and gained popularity during her time at Delta State University. She has in the past, collaborated with notable Nigerian artists such as Lagbaja, Daniel Wilson and late Sammie Okposo.
The U. S. -based worship leader with the Christ Embassy church, is also known in Nollywood having worked on soundtracks of some Nigerian films.
The late Onos, had won Best Gospel Artiste (South-South Nigeria) as well as FAME Music Award as best Upcoming Artist, among others.
