SUPER EAGLES FACE ZIMBABWE IN LONDON FOR 2026 UNITY CUP

Nigeria’s male football team, the Super Eagles’ are currently in London, the United Kingdom for the Invitational four nation’s Unity Cup tournament.

Nigeria will face Zimbabwe on Tuesday, May 26, at The Valley Stadium, which is the home ground of English club Charlton Athletic. The match is the first semi-final of the Unity Cup tournament.

The second semi-final will see Jamaica national football team take on India national football team on Wednesday, while the final is set for Saturday, May 30, also at The Valley.

Although more players are still expected to join the camp, including captain Wilfred Ndidi and winger Moses Simon, the Eric Chelle coached team, held its first training session on Saturday at Cray Valley FC in London, marking the first full workout since players started arriving in camp. Another training session was scheduled for Sunday night at the same venue as preparations intensified.

Players currently in camp include Junior Ayobami, Al Ameen Tijani, Michael Atata, Adeoye Aderemi, Oputa Chibueze, Ighoke Obinna, Ocholi Elias, Oyedokun Tosin, Philip Otele, Arthur Okonkwo, Femi Azeez, Owen Oseni, Nnadi Tochukwu, Terem Moffi, Francis Uzoho, Chibuike Nwaiwu and Rafiu Durosinmi.
