The Delta State Social Media Summit 4th edition is scheduled for Thursday August 27, 2026, at the Mariam Babangida Leisure Park in Asaba.
According to the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor Mr Ossai Ovie Success, the summit is themed “FROM CONTENT TO CAPITAL: SELL DELTA, BUILD DELTA, SUSTAIN DELTA.
The Delta Social Media Summit has, over the last three editions, become the premier gathering of digital creators, entrepreneurs, and youth influencers in the state.
This 4th edition is designed as a game-changer to equip Deltans with practical skills to monetize digital content, promote Delta’s potentials globally, and align youth creativity with the developmental goals of the MORE Agenda of the Delta State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori
The summit will be training over 2,000 participants on content monetization, brand partnerships, AI tools, and digital marketing to create jobs and wealth, position Delta creators as digital ambassadors to market Delta’s culture, tourism, agriculture, and SMEs to national and global audiences, Align social media influence with government’s development projects in roads, health, education, and industry under the MORE Agenda, Foster financial literacy, agency-building, and mentorship to ensure the digital economy outlives individuals and creates employment for others.
Content Creators, Entrepreneurs, Students, Job Seekers, Civil Servants, Bloggers, Marketers, and Business Owners across all 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State are expected to attend the summit .
