Businessman and respected member of the Iwegbu family of Ogbe Iyase, Akwukwu-Igbo, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ndubuisi Godson Iwegbu, on Sunday, August 30, 2026 marked his 70th birthday in an atmosphere of joy, gratitude and celebration.
Born into the Iwegbu family, Godson Iwegbu spent his formative years in Aba, Abia State, where he received his secondary education at the famous Eziama High School. His upbringing in the commercial city helped shape his enterprising spirit and laid the foundation for a successful career in business.






The milestone birthday which held at Bolwatt Galleria Event Center, Governor’s Road, Ikotun, Lagos brought together family members, friends, associates and well-wishers who celebrated the septuagenarian for his remarkable journey through life. The occasion also provided an opportunity for loved ones to reflect on his contributions to his family, community and business circles.









Among those celebrating with him were his wife, Mrs. Precious Nneoma Okoroafor, Mrs. Onyinyechi Favour Iwegbu and Mr. Nnabueze Godson Iwegbu Jnr. His son-in-law, Chief Chijioke Okoroafor, Chief Executive Officer of BOB Grand Homes alongside his close friends, were also part of the celebration as family and friends joined in honouring the celebrant.






The occasion marked not just a birthday but seven decades of experiences, relationships, accomplishments and memories. For the Iwegbu family of Akwukwu-Igbo, the celebration was a fitting tribute to a man whose life continues to be defined by family values, enterprise and enduring bonds with those around him.
