Nollywood royalty will converge on Lagos this Sunday as veteran actor and multiple award-winning screen icon Norbert Young takes centre stage at The Forum by Ojez, where he will be celebrated for his decades-long contribution to the growth and development of Nigeria’s film and theatre industry.
The star-studded event begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Ojez Sports Lounge, National Stadium, Surulere, with leading Nollywood personalities, entertainment practitioners and prominent members of society expected to turn out in force to honour the veteran thespian.
Born in Sapele, Delta State, Norbert Young, 67, has built an impressive career spanning theatre, television and film. A graduate of Theatre Arts, with studies at the University of Ibadan and the University of Benin, he began his professional journey through teaching and advertising before establishing himself as a formidable actor and director on stage and screen.
His recognition by The Forum by Ojez is a celebration not only of his distinguished acting career but also of his enduring contribution to the growth of Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
And keeping the celebration alive will be B.R. Olorin and the Ojez Music Band, providing live music and entertainment throughout the evening.
