Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been elected the new president of Nigeria.
Tinubu emerged winner in last Saturday, February 25, 2023 presidential election.

Declaring him winner, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and chief returning officer of the election, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said Tinubu scored 8,794,726 votes to defeat the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Abubakar Atiku and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP who scored 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 votes respectively.
Mr. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), came 4th with 1,496,687 votes.
