The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has officially announced the dates and venue for the 6th edition of the Peace Anyiam-Osigwe (PAO) Nigerian Digital Regulatory Conference (NDRC), one of Nigeria’s premier platforms for shaping the future of the nation’s creative and digital industries.
Scheduled to hold on November 18th and 19th, 2026, the conference will take place at the prestigious Shell Hall of the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos. This flagship programme of the NFVCB continues to serve as a critical gathering that unites diverse voices to navigate the rapidly evolving digital content landscape in Nigeria and across Africa.
The two-day event is expected to attract key stakeholders from government, industry, academia, technology, and the creative sector. Participants will engage in high-level discussions on how Nigeria can effectively harness the vast opportunities in digital content production while proactively addressing emerging regulatory challenges in the sector.
Central to the conference agenda are pressing contemporary issues including artificial intelligence, the operations of streaming platforms, content monetization strategies, intellectual property protection, content standards, digital safety, and the broader future of the creative economy. These topics reflect the NFVCB’s commitment to fostering responsible innovation and sustainable growth in Nigeria’s digital space.
Beyond dialogue, the 6th PAO-NDRC will explore practical strategies aimed at positioning Nigeria as Africa’s foremost destination for film production, digital content creation, and creative entrepreneurship. The conference seeks to produce actionable recommendations that will strengthen the country’s competitive edge in the global creative industries.
Organizers have urged all stakeholders, professionals, and enthusiasts in the creative and digital ecosystem to save the dates and actively participate in what promises to be a transformative gathering for Nigeria’s creative economy.
