DUBAI-BASED BUSINESSMAN CHIMA OGUEKUSI LOSES MOTHER-IN-LAW

Dubai-based businessman, Chief Chima Oguekusi(Nwakaibeya 1 of Ezimba-Ogberuru) is bereaved.

Chief Oguekusi, lost his mother-in-law, Madam Nneoma Mrs Grace Obiukwu of Akwuorji community, Ezeogwu, Okwuamaihe, Awo Idemili in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.

Aged 64, the late Mrs Obiukwu died on the 14th of June, 2020.

During her lifetime, she was a successful cement and iron rods dealer dealer at Orlu, Imo State.

A devout Catholic, Mrs Obiukwu was conferred with Ezinne and Nneoma titles in recognition of her devotion to the things of God and was once the president of the Catholic Women Organisation, CWO in her parish

Her burial rites will commence on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020 with a Wake-keep at her compound, Ezeogwu Okwuamaihe, Awo Idemili.

On Thursday, 8th October, her body will leave St. Damian mortuary, Okporo, for her compound for lying in state.

Thereafter, a Requiem mass will be held in her honour at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ezeogwu, which will be followed by interment at her compound.

Among those left to mourn her are her husband, Mr Pius Nnaoma Obiukwu, children; Mrs Uchenna Oguekusi, Mr Nnamdi Obiukwu, Mr Uzoma Obiukwu, Mrs Nneka Chidozie etc and many in-laws including Chief Chima Oguekusi(Nwakaibeya 1 of Ezimba- Ogberuru).
