The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has frowned at a proposed film premiere scheduled for this weekend in Lagos. The Board in a statement on Wednesday, said the premiere was illegal and unauthorized. According to the statement, “the trailer for this film depicts explicit pornography and actively promotes same-sex relationships.” The Board also said that this film has neither been submitted, vetted, nor classified by the NFVCB, rendering any public exhibition or promotion completely illegal.
