Austin Umahi, the younger brother to the Minister of Works, David Umahi on Friday, December 29, withdrew from the Ebonyi South senatorial bye election. This followed the zoning of the position to Onicha local government area by the State Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on the order of Governor Francis Nwifuru.
