Hon. Muhammad Danjuma Hassan, a member of the house of representatives, representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa federal constituency of Kano State, has passed away. The lawmaker died on Friday evening after a prolonged illness. Akin Rotimi, spokesperson of the house, confirmed Hassan’s death in a statement on Saturday. Rotimi noted that the 66-year-old deputy chairman of the house committee on judiciary was elected in 2023 under the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
