The Lagos State government and Fidelity Bank have advised financial institutions to fund small medium enterprises (SMEs) because of their importance to economic development. The state Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, spoke at the inaugural edition of the grants competition organised at Fidelity SME Funding event in Lagos.
