A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over the weekend, held it’s national convention in Abuja. The group also re-elected Abdulrahman Mohammed as its national chairman. Abdulrahman, who is from Nasarawa State in the North Central zone, had earlier served as Acting National Chairman of the faction’s National Caretaker Committee.
