SARAKI CLEARED FOR PDP PRIMARIES AS GROUP APPLAUD HIS EMERGENCE AS NORTHERN CONSENSUS CANDIDATE

The Saraki Nigeria ‘23 group has commended the bravery of the Northern Elders Forum spokesmen, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed for backing the Prof Ango Abdullahi’s consensus committee report having endorsed the president of the eight (8th) senate, and former governor of Kwara State, H.E. Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the governor of Bauchi State, H. E. Sen. Bala Mohammed as the northern consensus candidate.

In a statement which was credited to the spokesman, Baba-Ahmed, he commended the report of Prof Ango Abdullahi while also stating that the leadership of the NEF is “Solidly” behind him.

According to the NEF’s spokesperson, Ahmed noted that entire forum is loyal to Prof. Ango.

The former Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission stated that they were not against Prof. Ango Abdullahi, adding that “he is committed to orderly and good governance, and as such, we are loyal to him.” Dr Baba-Ahmed said.

The forum’s Director of Media and Advocacy lamented that what the country was going through in the last decades was because Nigerians elected poor leaders, saying, “I think it is not their fault but also our fault too.” Baba-Ahmed further said

Meanwhile, the Dr. Saraki, scaled through the screening by the PDP panel led by former senate president, Dr. David Mark in Abuja on Friday.

Insiders are already predicting, that the race for the ticket will be a three-horse race featuring Saraki, Atiku and Wike in that order.
