Ukwa La Ngwa stakeholders, Lagos have adopted the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Okey Ahiwe as their sole candidate in the Saturday, March 11, 2023 governorship election in Abia State.
At a meeting of the stakeholders held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, the stakeholders urged Abians in Lagos and diaspora to proceed home in order to vote and ensure his victory at the poll come March 11, 2023.
A statement signed by the PRO of the forum, Chimaobi Adiele Esq., urged all other Ukwa La Ngwa sons and daughters in other political parties vying for the seat of the governor of Abia State in the March 11, 2023, election in Abia State to close ranks, step down, come together, jettison rancor and acrimony and support the candidacy of Chief (Sir) Okey Ahiwe (Kikas) with a view to ensuring his victory at the election in line with the above resolutions.
The Ukwa la Ngwa Stakeholders, also reminded all that elections have consequences and for this reason, it urges all Abians and people of goodwill to shine their eyes and vote enbloc for this most reliable, competent, and compassionate candidate that God has ordained to lead Abia this time around so that he can seamlessly win the Governorship election and be returned by INEC as the Governor-elect for Abia state come March 11, 2023.
