NIGERIA’S 4x100M RELAY TEAMS QUALIFY FOR PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES

Nigeria’s 4x100m relay teams have qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The female quartet of Eyakpobeyan Justina Tiana, Olajide Olayinka, Ofili Favour and Godbless Tima Seikeseye sailed through on Monday morning in the Bahamas, running a season-best of 42.71s.

Team Switzerland placed second behind Nigeria.

In the men’s category, the quartet of Onwuzurike Udodi Chudi, Consider Emmanuel Ekanem, Akintola Alaba Olukunle and Anunagba Karlington clocked 38.57s to finish second behind Ghana.

On Sunday, Team Nigeria picked two tickets in the men’s 4x400m and mixed 4x400m relay races.

In the final of the mixed 4x400m relay race, Nigeria came fourth behind the United States, The Netherlands and Ireland, with an African record of 1.38.71s.

Men’s 4x400m
