From the Orizu royal family of Otolo Nnewi for the burial of Igwe Nnewi’s first wife on Thursday 24th October to Oba a neighbouring town in same Anambra State on Friday November 1st 2024 for the burial of the father in-law of Igbo biz magnate, Chief Sir Henry Orabuchi (Ikenga Ogbaeruru, CEO Teka group).

Teka as fondly known, purchased a large chunk of the Cricova brands for the event and in reciprocating the gesture, Don Pee wine and Beverages Ltd. Cricova Africa distributor, engaged the service of 35 professional usher’s, which included Spanish nationals, fully kitted in Cricova branded gears, to add panache and glamour to the event.

Next day being 2nd of November(today) is also another high profile shindig, as top igbo social club, De Imperial Philanthropic family holds its annual general meeting and gala nite (midas night) at the Oriental Hotels in Lagos and Cricova is the official drink for the event as endorsed by the members.

What a beehive of activities. Cricova has been conspicuously visible in major events recently thereby endearing itself to the wine and liquor loving Africans and Nigeria in particular.

According to Don Pee wines image maker, Obifaruk Madu, “Cricova premium brands, Amplius (Oga ndi Oga) Cuvee champagne and XO is presently the toast of fun lovers as demands keep surging”.
