The members of the Ngwa National Association, USA Inc (NNAUSA) have awarded scholarships to the beneficiaries of its 2025 Ngwa Educational & Outreach Foundation (NEOF) and Ngwa Apprenticeship & Skills Acquisition Board (NASAB).
Speaking at the event held at Aba Town Hall, Aba South Local Government Headquarters, the National President/Chief Executive Officer of NNAUSA, Dr. Ugochukwu Agu noted that over the years the Association has remained focused in supporting educational developmental initiatives in Abia State by providing educational scholarship opportunities to Ukwa/Ngwa youths pursuing tertiary education, as well as skills acquisition and apprenticeship programs.





Dr. Agu maintained thatL under his leadership NNAUSA is fully committed to strengthening these programs adding that the awardees for the 2025 scholarship cycle were carefully selected and cautioned the recipients for NEOF to maintain good academic records in order not to lose the opportunity in the coming years adding that NNAUSA will train the beneficiaries until their graduation including those studying medical courses.




In his goodwill message, the Guest of Honour at the event and the Mayor of Aba South Local Government Area, Mr. Obialor Anyanwu commended NNAUSA members for the bold initiatives aimed at uplifting our community and charged the recipients to reciprocate the gestures by taking their studies and skills acquisition seriously.


In their separate remarks, the Chairman of NNAUSA’s Ngwa Educational & Outreach Foundation (NEOF), Dr. Amarachi Oriaku, that of Ngwa Apprenticeship & Skills Acquisition Board (NASAB) Mazi Okezie Amalaha who spoke through Mazi Jude Nwogu, the Chairman of NNAUSA’s Village Primary School Improvement (NNAUSA’S VPSI), Chief Vine Etufugh and the NASAB Secretary, Mrs. Mrs. Gold Oriaku urged the beneficiaries to maintain good academic standards and represent the Ngwa community with pride and integrity while describing skills as the bedrock of development for any society.
Contributing, the Chairman of NNAUSA Homes based Committee/the Event Coordinator, Dr. Chinagozi Adindu and a member of the Committee, Justice L.T.C Eruba appreciated NNAUSA members for the heavy investment they are making in the education of our young people while also eulogizing the leaders and members of the association for the initiatives and the sincerity exhibited in the selection of the beneficiaries.

Highpoint of the event was presentation of certificates of Award to the recipients and was attended by the National Secretary of NNAUSA, Dame Ihuoma Queeneth Uzoije, members of NNAUSA, parents and guardians of the beneficiaries, among other notable personalities.
