The earthly remains of Mr. Adesiyan Joel Adegboye were interred on Friday, May 22, 2026, at his residence in the Owolake area of Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Adegboye, a Teacher, was killed by bandits during the attacks on schools in Ahoro-Esinele, Oriire local government area of Ogbomoso, Oyo state, on May 15.
The burial service was held at Ayegun Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, Oyo State while the interment took place at his residence at Owolake area of Ogbomoso.
Adegboye was 49 years old when he was killed by the bandits.
It will be recalled that the bandits abducted some students and teachers, including the principal, Mrs Rachael Alamu during the attack.
One of the teachers in captivity, Mr. Michael Oyedokun, was recently killed by the bandits and the video of his gruesome murder released.
