The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kano State, has the immediate past Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo as it’s consensus candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
Leader of the party in the state, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso made the announcement on Thursday after extensive consultations with NDC stakeholders.
Kwankwaso also announced the APC governorship candidate during 2023 polls, Nasiru Gawuna as candidate for Kano Central Senatorial seat.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Kwankwaso Kwankwaso may be picked as Vice Presidential Candidate to Peter Obi by the NDC.
