U-17 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: FLAMINGOS THRASH GUINEA 6-0

The Flamingos of Nigeria on Sunday, thrashed their Guinean counterparts 6-0 in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second-round qualifier played at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.

The victory handed the Nigerian team an 11–0 aggregate victory after they had won the first leg 5-0

Captain Harmony Chidi and striker Oluwakemi Adegbuyi scored a brace each while Queen Joseph, Precious Oscar also scored as the Nigerian girls outclassed their opponents in the game.

The Flamingos now have one more game against Benin Republic, to book a place to the tournament which will hold in Morocco. The next matches will be played between July 3rd and 11th.
