The Nigeria International Gospel Music Awards (NIGMA) 2026 has officially announced its winners, celebrating outstanding excellence, creativity, ministry, and impact within the Nigerian and international gospel music community.
Organized by the Academy of Gospel Music Nigeria (AGMN), NIGMA was established as a platform to recognize and honour gospel music ministers, creatives, industry leaders, ministries, and individuals whose contributions continue to inspire faith, hope, excellence, and positive transformation through gospel music.
Among the major winners, Moses Bliss emerged as Artiste of the Year, while Gaise Baba featuring Lawrence Oyor took home Song of the Year for No Turning Back II. Frank Edwards won Album of the Year for Heart of Worship, while Tkeyz was named Sammie Okposo Next Rated Artiste.
Other major winners include Sunmisola Agbebi, who received the Female Vocalist of the Year award, and Tim Godfrey & Fearless Community, who were honoured as Group/Choir of the Year.
No Turning Back II by Gaise Baba featuring Lawrence Oyor also received recognition as Best Collaboration and Afro-Gospel Song of the Year, while Chinyere Udoma won Indigenous Gospel Song of the Year for Eze Abata.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITIONS
NIGMA 2026 also celebrated gospel music excellence beyond Nigeria.
Enkay was named Diaspora Artiste of the Year – Female, while Limoblaze received the Diaspora Artiste of the Year – Male.
