The answer is now on display at the MTN Y’ello Street Experience, where Nigerians can take a walk through 25 years of communication, technology and everyday life.
The experience takes visitors from the early days of mobile phones, voice calls and SMS through the rise of mobile internet, smartphones and the digital services that now shape how Nigerians work, connect, learn and do business.
What makes the experience compelling is seeing the transformation side by side.
Things that once felt futuristic are now ordinary. Things that once seemed impossible are now part of everyday life.
Visitors can explore the different eras, interact with the installations, take photos and share their own memories of how technology has changed their lives.
It is also an experience worth sharing with someone who remembers those early days — because seeing the journey together makes the transformation even more striking.
With the experience running only until August 17, there is a limited opportunity to see 25 years of change brought together in one place.
