The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, of the Accord Party, has won the 2026 governorship poll.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat other rivals, winning in 20 out of the 30 Local Government Areas in the state. His closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, polled 444,815 votes while Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress came a distant third polling 17,780 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced the results at about 7.54 am following the collation results on Sunday.
A total of 15 political parties participated in the election.
