The Nigerian U-20 women’s football team, the Falconets have qualified for the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA u-20 world cup in Colombia. The Falconets beat their Venezuelan counterpart by 4-0 in the last group game to pick the ticket alongside Germany. The Falconets goals came from Amina Bello, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, Flourish Sabastine, and Joy Igbokwe. In the other group game, Korea Republic recorded an upset when they defeated Germany 1-0, to ensure Korea Republic advanced to the round of 16.
