The remains of late Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have been laid to rest in her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State.
Her body arrived her hometown, through Enugu for the interment on Saturday.
A victim of domestic violence, the late “Ekwueme” singer died on April 8, 2022, in Abuja.
Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, who is standing trial before a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja on allegations of beatings which led to her death, is currently remanded at the Kuje Correctional Facility, Abuja.
