The USAID representatives  encouraged the team members of D.E.T to keep increasing their work force and outreach to more farmers and cover more grounds in Nigeria especially as they are helping these farmers reduce the stress of labour, reduce wastage of input and increase their profitability.

As part of their activities, D.E.T Services is also engaged in input financing to farm clusters in Abia and Ebonyi States, to mark the commencement of the wet season farming. These rural farmers that previously lacked access to quality input as a result of lack of finance were very excited to get these inputs with the convenient payment option of paying at the end of the planting season.

The Managing Director D.E.T Services, Mr. Onyekachi Michael reiterated that the programme, will not stop with the few farmers in Abia and Ebonyi state but would be replicated in other states in the South East and subsequently the federation as a whole.
