The Federal Road Safety Celebrity Special Marshals Unit have described late veteran actor Olu Jacobs as a noble Nigerian safety advocate.
The Unit in a statement issued on Wednesday by co-Founder of FRSC Celebrity Special Marshals, Chris Kehinde Nwandu (CKN) in Abuja described the late actor as an iroko in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Jacobs was inducted into the road Safety elite group on 11th November 2017 by former FRSC Corps Marshal Dr Boboye Oyeyemi.
Mr Olu Jacobs the statement said had used his time and career to propagate Safety measures and behaviours on our roads ever since his induction.
According to CKN, “the day I mooted the idea of him becoming a member of the Celebrity Road Safety Marshals, he didn’t give it a second thought before accepting the offer’.
While praying for the repose of his soul, the statement said the entire Celebrity Marshals unit “is asking God to console his family, the entertainment industry and Nigeria as a whole”.
