‘WHY WE WILL NOT REOPEN CHURCHES, MOSQUES NOW’-LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT

The Lagos State Government, has announced that churches and mosques in the state will remain closed despite the relaxation on the ban on worship centres by the Federal Government. Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr. Anofiu Elegushi, stated that reopening of worship centres would not be possible now because the state is the epicentre of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
